The method

How Vetted works.

Vetted is built to answer one question: where is the good coffee worth your time? It stays café-first, follower-aware, and free of public ratings.

A guide, not a review wall

Most coffee apps turn strangers into a scoreboard. Vetted is built for a simpler question: where is the good coffee worth your time?

The app keeps the café first: hours, coffee-program details, useful context, and a clear sense of what to expect. Then, when you choose, notes from people you follow add personal context.

Notes from people you follow

Following is private by design. You connect by an exact handle or a share link, and every request is accepted one at a time. There are no public profiles, suggested follows, phone contacts, or people directory.

A personal note is visible only when its author chooses to share it with accepted followers. It is never a public review, rating, or ranking.

What “vetted” actually means

A café earns a place because its coffee program and visit are worth the trip. The product explains that through durable café details, not a hidden score or a public popularity contest.

There is no self-serve listing and no way to pay your way on. Cafés are added deliberately, not by owners buying placement.

No scores, no stars, no public reviews

You won't find a star wall or public rating system anywhere on Vetted, and that's deliberate. A single number flattens everything that matters about a café into false precision, and public review walls reward the loudest, not the most useful.

Personal notes stay follower-scoped. They help the people who chose to follow you; they do not become a public review page for everyone else.

Keeping it honest

Owners can keep practical details like hours, address, and photos accurate. They cannot buy placement, edit the product's café context, or read personal follower notes.

You stay in control of your own notes: keep one private, share it with followers, make it private again, or delete it whenever you choose.

Community Terms

These terms apply when you share follower-visible café notes or suggest café photos. Keep contributions café-specific, useful, grounded in your own experience, and respectful of other people's privacy. Do not use notes or photos as public ratings, scorecards, promotional posts, or contributor attribution.

Vetted has zero tolerance for objectionable user content. Do not share spam; impersonation; personal or confidential information; harassment or bullying; hateful or discriminatory abuse; threats or glorification of violence; sexually explicit content; illegal content; or instructions that facilitate illegal or dangerous conduct. Photo suggestions must be your own image, or one you have the right to share, and identifiable people must not be the main subject.

Follower-visible notes may be automatically screened before sharing. Suggested photos are held privately for editor review and are not shown publicly unless approved. Any signed-in member can report a shared note or displayed photo in context; members can block note authors from the same note surface. Vetted may remove content, return a note to private visibility, suspend accounts for severe or repeated violations, and review questions or appeals sent to the support address below.
