West Harlem is the Plowshares cafe/roastery, opened in 2019 in the Manhattanville Factory District, so the format is built around more than a cafe-only counter. Plowshares roasts its own coffee and also runs wholesale coffee, barista training, and brewing and espresso-machine support, with coffees from Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Kenya feeding the broader program.
